At work today I was sending out some emails….well one big email to a lot of people. And a big pet peeve of mine is dumb email names. Sure we all have had our emails back in jr. high but for college and business stuff it just looks bad. I dont know why this bothers me so much but it does. Maybe its just all the business classes that i’ve taken that has forced me to be annoyed by them. Here are some examples of the emails I came across today and in the past

Could you imagine putting that down on a resume or trying to hire someone and seeing that in the little email box….i dont know…i just like Brewster.Chris@gmail.com…. maybe its just me….or is it….

RIP

I just found out that Heath Ledger had passed away.

I was shocked and sadden. All I read was that it was drug related…a possible over dose but this could be wrong.

I dont know why I am so emotional about this but I am. This is the saddest I’ve been about any celebrity. Too young when Princess Diana died to fully appreciate her. Steve Irwin wasnt that of a shock to me…im not to sure why.

I remember how excitied I was when I found out he was going to be playing “The Joker” in the new batman movie “The Dark Knight”

I’m sure there will be plenty of  blog posts about this topic but oh well all in his memory!

Today is my friend Colton White’s 19th birthday.

He is one cool kid. He is the only freshman I hang out with really. I dont know what that has to do with anything but whatever. Happy Birthday!!

Ok. So the Cowboys lost.

The media is going to rip Tony Romo up on his vacation to mexico with Jessica Simpson. Besides that interception that he through at the end of the game….it wasnt his fault. Penalties, drop passes and a weak secondary cause the cowboys to lose.

I am very excited to go to my classes and see those annoying Cowboy fans all sad. They have been talking crap all season and now…its over….i much rather see the cowboys lose to the Patriots by 35 in the Superbowl but any Cowboy loss is a great one. but only watch about the first 45 seconds of this video…

T.O. what a teammate. what a player. what a load of crap!
and the Chargers….they are the biggest bunch of winers i have ever seen. Philip Rivers is a punk. and the score is going to be 45-20 Patriots!

The Question….

“How was your break/summer?”

I try not to ask that question to people after a break/summer. That is the ultimate icebreaker for after Christmas or Summer breaks. I dont know why it annoys me so much but it does…is it just me?

I know some people really do care but for others I can tell its just something to fill in the void of the conversation while you are standing in line to get registered.

So about 55% of the time when people would ask me “How was your break?” I would answer “Awful, my dog died, thanks for reminding me.” And make them feel awkard for about 10 seconds and then say. “Just kidding?” or “PWNed!”

 Well anyways for all of you out there…..How was your break?
